March news and events!

March news and events at Fringe Supply Co., Craft South and Stitches South!

March is such a happy month. Temperatures are rising, days are getting longer, and there are three highly exciting events on the Fringe calendar:

1.) Biggest among them is Stitches South! The top photo above is Fringe Supply HQ, which we will be packing up and replicating at Opryland Convention Center at the end of the month on the Stitches market floor. Stitches conventions are a chance to take all sorts of classes and/or shop from a wide range of vendors, and Stitches SOUTH is also a chance to visit Nashville! Among the vendors will be our friends from Haus of Yarn, Camellia Fiber Company, Reunion Yarn (hopefully Craft South) and lots more. So check out the Stitches site and start making your plans! (I might need to update my Things to do in Nashville post. So much has changed!)

2.) I’m super psyched to be teaching at Craft South (the bottom photo above) with my good friend Jen Beeman of Grainline Studio, and there are a few spots left in the class at the moment. We’ll be teaching our Stowe Bag sewing pattern, which is a great opportunity to expand your basic sewing skills — and have fun doing it! That’s from 10-4 on March 12th here in Nashville at Craft South. Click over to their site for full details and to register!

3.) I have something crazy beautiful and incredibly limited-edition coming to the shop very soon. Because there is such a small number of them, I’m giving mailing list subscribers the first shot at them. So to find out what it is and when it will be available, make sure you’re subscribed — there’s a sign-up box in the upper right corner of the page at Fringe Supply Co.

Are you in??

    • Subscribing here gets you blog updates. Subscribing to the shop mailing list gets you shop updates, including the one mentioned above later this week.

If you’re worried about too much email, I hear you — I send an average of just 2-4 shop emails a month. I’m as protective of your inbox as I am of mine! And the same goes for your email address.

  1. purple field bags?! lol is stitches fun to go to even if you don’t register for a class?

  2. Hi Karen,
I have the Stowe bag pattern but would you consider a bento bag pattern in multiple sizes? I’d like to make them for gift bags and then could pick my own fabric. Just a thought….

  3. What are those books on the shelves in the top picture? All of them are blue, in a nice row with a white label
