Crazy days of Summer

Crazy days of Summer

It is really crazy days around here right now, emotional rollercoaster days, with events both tragic and thrilling tossing me around. So today I’m taking a deep breath and hoping for one whole day of productivity. The most time-sensitive thing demanding my attention is the deadline (er, yesterday) for my pattern for the undisclosed item pictured above — which I did not knit, by the way. I wish I could tell you all about it, but I’ll be able to later this year! Assuming I actually finish it, that is … so off I go. Wish me luck!

  1. Karen, just stunning. Looks like the Ben Hole & Son yarn or something similar. You are just a tease and you possibly having too much fun holding us “chompers” at bay! :)

  2. We are definitely in the crazy days of summer, and I feel like it has been an emotional rollercoaster too! Keep on keepin’ on!!

  3. Summer overwhelms me. We have such a short season for my “little fish” to swim that I try to get her to water as much as possible but all the running around is exhausting for this homebody. All I really want to do is hang out in my room reading and knitting, but alas, it’s summer.

  4. LOVE the texture of the mystery item! Can’t wait to see it! Have a wonderful day!

  5. Tragic is never good. The Old Guy had a visit from the Pneumonia Fairy a couple weeks ago that had us spending most of a night in the ER. He’s recovering faster than I am, but then once a week our toddler granddaughter comes for the day and the world is bright and cheerful and all is right, for that day anyway.

Love the look of the knitting. Love the color. I want to touch it.

Deep breath… take a step back and tackle something you can accomplish fairly quickly so you feel like you’re making progress. Can’t wait for the thrilling.

  6. Does this tease have anything to do with the green vest tease? Wishing you calm, humidity-free productivity.
