I’m sitting in my car at lunchtime, listening to Tana French’s “In the Woods” and working on my hat for Afghans for Afghans. I want to finish this up tonight because there’s something else I’m eager to get knitting on, plus I have a desperate yearning to sew. What do you have planned for the weekend?
.
You put me to shame with this question. I have been a lazy knitter. As a teacher, this time of year just seems to suck the life blood out of me! It’s all I can do to look at knitting inspiration, much less actually knit! :o)
No shame in that, MJ. I have a bad habit of knitting to the exclusion of other things I should be tending to …
I have done that, too!
I love Tana French’s novels! I’ve read “In The Woods,” “The Likeness,” and “Faithful Place.” now I’m just waiting for her next novel to reach bookstores.
I am really liking this one — it’s sort of perfect in audio, too, for commutes and power walks. I’ll definitely be downloading more of her work.
She has great character development. If you like “In the Woods”, you’ll like the others.
Your hat is such a pretty color…
Sewing sounds like a plan, I have some of my own to get to this weekend. Have fun!
They emphasized wanting brightly colored things, and the only real color in my stash was this Malabrigo Worsted in Lettuce. It looked more acid green in the skein than it does knit into fabric — I’m really liking the color more than I expected to.
