So I’m at Vogue Knitting Live today (are you?) but I never showed you what I bought at Stitches West! I was apparently in a burgundy and blue mood that Sunday afternoon. I went to Plucky Knitter and bought Plucky Bello in Noisette and Plucky Lace (what?!) in Big Sky. Then a little while later I went to Spincycle Yarns and picked out this Parentheses super bulky and Tangled Up in Blue worsted. The obvious similarities notwithstanding, those Spincycle skeins are like nothing else in my stash. Can’t wait, can’t wait.
I also bought a few knitting patterns: Mixed by Thea Colman, Plaits and Pines by Amy Miller, and Vintage Crocheted Blanket by Churchmouse Yarns, which I want to do as a wrap. Hoping to find some more irresistibles at VK Live this weekend — if you’re there, please come see Brooke and me in the Sincere Sheep booth!
